first things first

This isn’t going to cost you any money. I was going to sell this ebook for $17.95, but decided to give it to you as a bonus as I’m keen to help as many people as possible.  So put away your credit card.

I will also send you a copy of my free newsletter "Self Esteem Review". But remember, you can unsubscribe at any time. Even 5 minutes after you’ve downloaded the free ebook. That’s totally up to you

Obviously I hope you don’t unsubscribe,  as I strongly believe my newsletter will be something you will find useful.  That’s one reason I’m letting you get your hands on a second free ebook exactly a week after you sign up. Sneaky or what?  Yep, I’m sure some will hang on and unsubscribe then, but its a chance I’ll have to take!

The reasons I’ve written these ebooks – or as I like to refer to them "workbooks" -  is the same as why I’ve been writing a blog for nearly three years and a newsletter for eighteen months.  And the same reason I will create more workbooks in the future, more blog posts, article and newsletters. . .

I think they are useful. There, I’ve said it again.  Blowing my own trumpet, as they say.  Thing is, I no longer care what "they say".  Thats all part of developing healthy self esteem.  And believing in your ability to create something worthwhile – something good – is all part of having great self confidence.

There are a few things you should know about me.  Firstly, I’ve suffered from low self esteem and lacked self confidence in the past.  Throughout my teens and early adult years I had a pretty low opinion of me, and an even lower appraisal of what I could achieve.  I had dreams, but I didn’t even need others to knock them down.

Silly thing is, I had a pretty normal, healthy upbringing and good education.  It doesn’t need an abusive start in life to have low self esteem.  I can now recognise some of the factors that led to my lacking self confidence and having such a low opinion of myself.  But to be honest, looking back and going through analysis of past events isn’t something I consider particularly helpful.

The second point I want to make is that for the past twenty two years I’ve been working as an Occupational Therapist, all but 7 months of that in psychiatric settings.  Now, as I make clear on the blog and in my disclaimer, I’m not offering therapy in any shape or form.  But my Occupational Therapy background is very instrumental, and influential, in shaping my approach to how others can improve their self esteem and self confidence.

This can be summarised by the emphasis on practical activity rather than mystical navel gazing.  Changing habits and establishing roles rather than looking for an inner meaning.  Doing rather than just reading. . .

That’s why I’m quite excited about my workbooks.   They take my blog and newsletter writing a stage further.  They are designed to help people TAKE ACTION.  In our information overloaded age, its so easy to skim read everything, then move on.

So enough of me, what do you get in Self Esteem Exercises:-

  • A way to make you feel proud of being you

  •

  • Let you start becoming aware of what you have, rather than what you have not

  •

  • How to catch those negative thoughts and stop them taking root.
